Playlist Spring

Yoga playlist spring is up on my Spotify. It has been more than a year since we entered the COVID era. These times have taken their toll and it has not always been easy to keep our heads up, especially during the darker seasons. But alas, spring is coming and with it light, energy and – hopefully – a newfound resilience. Stay healthy, vibrant and joyful. Yoga will guide the way. Just click on the link below and enjoy ♡ Playlist Spring: Resilience

Playlist Autumn

Yoga playlist autumn is up on my Spotify. Especially as we enter the darker seasons, take some time to start your practice with meditation and pranayama. Then remove stagnant energies finding your flow in movement and shapes, exploring your bodies` needs and desires. Towards the end of your practice, gently wind down before you allow yourself to rest in a nourishing savasana. Just click on the link below and enjoy ♡ Playlist Autumn: Devotion

Playlist Summer

I made a new Yoga playlist and its perfect for this summer season just about to end! Indulge in sweet meditation and pranayama before you gently start to move your body. Explore shapes, play with forms and tune into what your body and mind desire. Be gentle or firm, soft or challenging – there are no rules to movement as long as your body feels safe and your spirit alive. Just click on the link below and enjoy ♡ Playlist Summer: Gratitude

Playlist Winter

I made a new Yoga playlist and its perfect for the winter season! I often practice to these tunes at home, starting with a strong flow, peaking in a somewhat challenging pose like an arm balance or inversion to then dedicate the rest of my practice to a slow, smooth opening of tight muscles, ligaments and tissue. The sweet combination of Yang and Yin. Just what you need to bring some heat into cold winter days. Enjoy ♡ Playlist Winter

Retreat in Greece

My lovely yogis! The time has come: I will be leading a lovely retreat and it`s going to be my first one in Europe so I am all the more excited that it will take place in Greece! This week long retreat is located at the gorgeous west coast of Greece, at the Ionian Sea, overlooking Korfu. This untouched coastline, where green hills meet pristine beaches with crystal clear water, surrounded by an impressive mountain range, is the perfect place to unplug and nurture your body, mind and soul. We will start our day with an energizing Vinyasa Flow class, where fluidity and alignment merge beautifully into sequences that are at times challenging, yet playful and accessible. During the day you will have time to swim at one of the gorgeous beaches or the pool, go for a stroll or hike or simply enjoy sweet moments of calm. In the evening we will wind down in a gentle Yin Yoga practice that will leave you replenished and grounded. This retreat will take place from June …

Join me in a gentle morning flow that will leave you feel nourished, at ease and energized for the day ahead. I`m in love with the Hemma Studio since I first started teaching there in 2015. Not only is it in a lovely neighborhood, in walking distance from my home – it is also a truly beautiful space with a great energy and very sweet clientele and teachers. I can`t wait to see you there on the mat!   ♡ Hemma ♡ Elvirastraße 4 Rückgebäude 80636 München http://www.hemma-yoga.de

Playlist November

November is a month of stillness for me. The birthday month of October has passed and the festivities of December have not yet begun. Back home, the weather starts to get really chilly at this time of the year, the days become significantly shorter and life draws inwards. Here in Los Angeles, November feels like an early October to me, with the temperatures being slightly colder and somewhat autumnish. However, the feeling of November stays with me. It`s incredible how deeply our roots are inscribed in our memory. This playlist is 60 minutes short and a perfect compilation of my November feels. Enjoy ♡

Playlist October

October has always been a special month for me. It is the month of my birthday. It is the month when the sun makes a last warm appearance. Where golden leaves rustle under bare feet. Where the morning air is fresh and crisp and filled with just a hint of good-bye. Where we begin to build our nests and turn inwards. In my home practice I have mostly practiced in silence throughout the last months. Then, all of a sudden, music had me back… oh how I enjoy to flow to the sound of soulful tunes. Everything in life comes and goes in waves. Enjoy ♡

Tunes for June ♪

I use this playlist in 75  minute classes that go through dynamic sun salutations after some warm up and take it deep and slow towards the end. However, it works quite well for other set ups too. This months favorite is definitely Going Home by Ásgeir, it touches my heart every single time I hear it and when it comes up in class I always feel it gives the moment a different quality. Musica para la vida. Enjoy ♥
